REPOSSESSION

I work as an employee for CostaLot Auto Sales and repossess our cars with our company truck. Can I repossess for the dealer across the street who is not affiliated with CostaLot?
NO. Nevada law requires that you may work unlicensed as a repossessor only as a bona fide
employee of the one dealer and for no other. You must have an employee-employer relationship, ie. Workers comp, federal
withholding etc. NRS/NAC 648

 I work for WeWreckedIt Towing and we are licensed by the Nevada TSA. CostUTooMuch Financing called us and wants us to repo a car down the street. Can we do it?
NO, your TSA certificate entitles you to tow for hire in accordance with NRS/NAC 706. In order
to repossess you must be licensed by the Private Investigators Licensing Board, a division of the Nevada Attorney General, in
accordance with NRS/NAC 648 or you must be a registered employee of a licensee.

PROCESS SERVICE

I am an employee for a Nevada attorney and serve legal process for the attorney for compensation. Is this legal?
YES as long as you are a bona fide employee of that attorney and the legal process is generated as work product. NRS/NAC 648

PRIVATE INVESTIGATION

I am employed by a Nevada attorney and another attorney down the street wants me to do some investigative work on a case for him. Can I legally do it?
